Who is Siyabonga Scoop Ngwekazi?
Scoop Makhathini born Siyabonga Ngwekazi on the 16th of March 1982 is a South African presenter and writer who was born and raised in the Eastern Cape by his parents. His father, who was a fashion lover played a vital role in instilling the culture on Scoop.
His Rise To Fame?
Siyabonga Ngwekazi 1st broke into scenes in 2006 as a tv presenter for hosting the pop culture magazine show, Street Journal, on SABC 1. In 2007 Siyabonga Ngwekazi co-hosted the 8th annual Metro awards ceremony with Penny Lebyane. Siyabonga Ngwekazi later went on to replace Trevor Noah as male presenter on the celebrity gossip show, The Real Goboza 2nd season in 2008 and the year after Mr Ngwekazi co-hosted the daily celebrity news show, V-Entertaimnet on Vuzu channel 116. In 2010 Mr Ngwekazi also known as Scoop became the digital host for the 16th annual South African Music Awards in Sun City. His star kept rising since then.
