Who is Nandi Madida?
Born, Nandi Mngoma but now Nandi madida since she’s married to Zakes Batwini, real name Zakhele madida is South African vocalist, producer, presenter and actress. She was born and bred in Maphumulo, KZN.
Growing Up
Nandi madida is raised by both parents, her mother is a lawyer and her dad is a Doctor. She started performing when she was four years old and scooping Miss Junior South Africa as her 1st accolade. She studied Law at University of Kwa-Zulu natal and Varsity College.
Her rise to Fame
Nandi Madida 1st came into the scene as anchor and presenter for the SABC 2 television show as a teen, Bling in 2004. She kick-started her professional singing career by featuring on a big topping chart single by DJ Franky, Tonight in 2011. She went on to feature in big anthems such as Skhanda Love By K.O which went on to win major accolades. Nandi Madida signed with UMGSA in 2012 and released herself titled debut album, Nandi. In 2013 nandi Madida was a presenter for various tv shows, All Acess mzansi and Supersport 3 just name a few.
