Who is NaakMusiq?
Naakmusiq is a south African house vocalist and an actor. Naak is famously known for his part in SABC 1 series ‘ generation‘ as M.J Mamela. His real name is Anga Makubalo.
Where it all started
Naak ‘s music career started in 2009 when he decided to study contemporary music at damelin. He got into the music scene by working with house music dj ‘Eltonick’ on a song titled ‘Move’. He later collaborated with the drumboss Heavy K to release the hit single ‘Yini’. Yini was a big song and gave Naakmusiq the recognition he need to break into the music industry.
From thereafter , he started working with industry heavy weights such as DJ Fresh , Euphonik , Lulo café , DJ Tira and more.
In 2015 he released his biggest hit ‘Call Out’ with DJ Fisherman and dream team . The song won an MTV award. In 2016 Naak signed to Durban ‘s biggest stable ‘Afrotainment’.
