Who is Ms Cosmo ?

Ms Como is a Hip Hop DJ and Radio Personality. Her real name is Nonqaba Nozuko Rwaxa , She was born in Diepkloof in Soweto. She is famously known for her show on 5FM ‘The Stir UP’.

Her Education and Career

Growing up Ms Cosmo wanted to be a singer, she went to tertiary to study a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Johannesburg. After graduating , Ms Cosmo went on to work for a banks as a Commercial Property Finance consultant. It was only later that she felt like she did not belong there and wanted to pursue music.

Her radio career began in 2013 when she joined 2013 and proved to be a force to be reckoned with in the hip hop space. She got her own show on 5FM titled The Stir Up , which later won the best hip hop radio show at the South African Hip Hop Awards.

Nonqaba later got an opportunity to DJ on channel O bassment and she quickly made her mark in South Africa. Her knowledge and interest in music, makes her the ideal choice when looking for a quality mix .

Miss Cosmo has performed in a lot ot festivals around the country including opening up for Kanye West during his South Africa tour. and she has also played alongside the likes of DJ Fresh, DJ Euphonik, Black Coffee , Prince Kaybee and more
