Who is Jessica Nkosi?

Jessica Nkosi was born and raised in Empangeni at small town Eskhawini by her mom Nhlanhlayethu Ntuli is a school teacher and her late father who was a late school inspector. Jessica’s dad was overseas when she was born and he didn’t see her until he was back. Jessica Nkosi is a South African Actress and Tv personality.

Growing Up

Jessica Nkosi was born on the 20th of January 1990 at small town in Empangeni. She has 4 siblings, her late older sister Nomusa, Swazi, Junior and Sphelele. Jessica’s father died when she was in Grade 11. He had Hodgkin’s disease – a rare form of cancer. Jessica Nkosi Studied law at University of Kwazulu Natal but dropped out when she failed her second year but that didn’t break her spirit as that forced her to follow her love for art and drama. She enrolled for Bachelor’s Degree in Drama and Performing Arts from which she graduated in 2012.

Her Rise To Fame

Jessica Nkosi moved to Johannesburg after graduating and just a year later she got her big break by starring as Qondi on the South African telenovela, Isisbaya. This role Jessica Nkosi a household name in South Africa. Jessica Nkosi appeared on Mzansi Magic series Ayeye as Eve. Jessica Nkosi has since appeared on numerous Award show, The Mtv Africa Music Awards, V-Entertainment, Channel O Music Video Awards to name just a few. Miss Nkosi also was the presenter for Mzansi magic’s Love show, Our Perfect Wedding.
