Who Is DJ Ganyani?

DJ Ganyani is a south African award winning House DJ and Music Producer. His real name is Frederick Ganyani Tshabalala , Born and bred in Meadowlands , Soweto. He has been in the music industry for almost 2 Decades .

Growing up Ganyani never imagined becoming a musician as he was an intelligent kid in school. He was part of the science nerd circle. Although he has always loved music , he never imagined making a career out of it.

He started learning the art of djing when he was 15 Years , he quickly mastered several techniques to manipulate the pre-recorded music. These included cueing, equalization and more.

Ganyani is regarded as a Legend in the music industry , He is one of the guys who commercialised house music in South African back in the 90s alongside Oskido , DJ fresh and more.

Ganyani’s House Grooves Vol. 9 was certified 4X Platinum. With 183 000 sales
Talk To Me Feat Layla was nominated for song of the year at the MMA’s (Metro FM Music Awards)

Xigubu feat FB was also nominated at the category called Xitsonga R&B/House at the Xitsonga Music awards 2013
