Who is Bonang Matheba?
Bonang Dorothy Matheba , known by most as Bonang or Queen B . She is a South African Television and radio personality , as well as a business woman , model and philanthropist. Queen B was born and raised in Mahikeng in the North west province.
Where it all started
The Mahikeng born Queen made her television debut in 2002 by appearing in a kids show on SABC 2 ‘ Manhattan Fantasy Challenge’. However her big break came around 2007 when she was crowned the winner of the SABC 1 ’s Music show Live AMP presenter search. She Co-Hosted the show with Tbo Touch for a couple of years . Matheba was very good at her job and she became one of the best presenters on TV at the time.
in 2012 she did her final episode and went on to present shows like ‘Clash of the choirs’ , Afternoon express , top billing and more big shows.
In 2009 , YFM offered Bonang her own weekend afternoon show on radio titled the B-hive , She was part of YFM until 2014.
Her reality show ‘Being Bonang’
Bonang Matheba also debuted on TV as an actress in 2008 on a SABC dram ‘Intersexions’. Where she played the role of nurse Seipati. And in 2017 she produced her own reality show with 1magic titled Being bonang. The show focused of bonang ’s live , what happens on daily basis in the life of bonang. It was such as huge success that , the broadcaster renewed the show until season 3.
