Who is Big Zulu?

Big Zulu , real name Siyabonga Nene is a rapper and actor , born and raised in bergville , kwazulu natal . Big Zulu is famous for his unique style of rap which he calls Inkabi rap. Inkabi is a slang word mostly used in the taxi industry. His music is influenced a lot by maskadi music and scathamiya.

How Big Zulu ‘s Rap Career started

He has always being in love with hip hop and rapping. however it was only in 2009 where he started writing and performing his own music . in 2016 he got signed to Universal music through a personal trainer ’s connection to Demor Skhosana. Ever since he has worked with the likes of industry Heavy Weights such as Kwesta , Cassper Nyovest , Sjava and many more.

Siyabonga was a taxi driver before things started looking up for him . thus he always tells stories of the taxi industry through his music. Big Zulu also landed a role on popular mzansi magic telenovela ‘Isibaya’.
