Vetkuk vs Mahoota are a South African House Dou . They have been making South Africa dance for over 2 decades , since the 90s. The dou is made up of Zynne ‘Mahoota’ Sibika and Jothama ‘Vetkuk’ Mbuyisi.
Mahoota was part of a kwaito group ‘Trompies’ before he started releasing House music compilations with Vetkuk.
Releasing their debut project
Vetkuk vs Mahoota released their debut project in 2001 titled Malombo , featuring the hi single Malombo . The album went on to reach platinum sales status. They continued to release more successful albums together. They worked with talented artists such the late Lebo Mathosa , Unathi , Spikiri , Oskido and more.
